This course includes the recording of all the Chinese Spelling appearing in the textbook, Dao of Chinese. There are 39 groups of Spelling recordings. The total recording time is about one hour and fifty minutes. Students are encouraged to listen and repeat after the recordings. There are three elements included in Chinese Spelling namely initials, finals, and tones. Students are encouraged to repeat aloud so that they can hear their own pronunciation.
Spelling is a very important part of learning Chinese pronunciation. You DON’T want to skip this process!
Since the recordings are logically arranged according to the Finals, it is possible to learn while you sleep. Your subconscious mind can follow and learn, especially during the hours before you get up. The pronunciation becomes clear as you listen lying down without distraction.
There is also one recording in a traditional way. Students can listen and repeat after this recording if they prefer to do so. However, we recommend students to spend more time on the other tape with the tone music.
Course Instruction: 1. Repeat aloud after each lesson for seven days. 2. Listen to the “Complete Spelling of Hanyu Pinyin” while you sleep for about a month. 3. Adjust the schedule according to your own level.
